From the winemaker:

”This wine is made from grapes from our best Rioja Alta vineyards. The harvest date is determined with periodic analysis and tasting of the grapes, indicators of the optimal state of maturation. After a careful selection in the vineyard and in the cellar, the grape goes to oak vats where the alcoholic fermentation will take place. It is uncovered in new French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation and aging are carried out for 18 months. Tasting notes: Ruby red color. On the nose it surprises for its powerful fruit character assembled with memories of its noble aging, traces of coconut, ”toffee” and suggestive undertones. The attack is powerful, developing a feeling of volume and smoothness that leads to a long finish. In the aftertaste the memories return to red fruits in conjunction with notes of scrub.”
